Fantasy Mission Force Slots
Many are likely no longer aware of this, but this game is based on an old Jackie Chan movie from the 80s that was very well received at the time. Although the movie itself may not have stood the test of time, the slot machine game surely will! Featuring wonderful artwork of the series, and all sorts of nights for Jackie Chan fans and others alike, there is a lot here to love, and enthusiasm seemingly coming out of every single image. The way the betting comes together and everything plays out as much as it can to Jackie Chan's on films, making for a good combination, and a fitting use of the license.
If you are an action movie fan and would love nothing more than to get paid lots of money while looking at the visual imagery from these wonderful films, then this game is a great fit for you. That describes us personally, and we saw countless hours into this game without a single regret.
What is This Slot About?
We personally think that almost every movie Jackie Chan has ever made is largely the same. We do not see this as a complaint! We are actually big fans of his. That said, every time you see Jackie Chan on screen, you can expect a lot of zany kung fu action, over the top action scenes, things blowing up, bad guys being outsmarted, and all manner of things that make for a good time as Jackie Chan himself smirks along the way. There is rarely a love interest of these films, which is an unusual choice, considering the rest of the genre. All of this comes together wonderfully in this game based on one of his forgotten films, which is adorned with imagery inspired by it, and wonderful weapons along side.
How Does the Game Actually Play?
Most games that are built on a big film license tend to be very lazy when it comes to the gameplay. Thanks to the real time gaming backing of this wonderful game, however, you will see none of that laziness here! Whether it is the progressive jackpot or the kaboom bonus feature, everything is fine, frantic, and frenetic. It makes for a very fast pace of play, which is a perfect fit with the theme, as well as the film. The bets here start at just one penny, and you can go all the way up to a dollar each. The pay lines are numbered at 20, and there are five reels for you to spin. The maximum bets are not very high, being only $20 each, but it is still good enough for a great time.
You'll be matching a wide variety of things, such as the many actors from the film itself, the free spins icon, many bullets and weapons that they used in the film, a stick of dynamite, and the logo of the game itself. The portraits of the actors are particularly nice, and come up fairly often.
How's it Look?
Because of all the money that went into the license, you can bet that they had plenty of time to spare for the art budget of this game. Everything here looks a notch or two above what you are used to seeing elsewhere, and they did not disappoint here. The portraits of the characters themselves look absolutely wonderful, and are hand drawn by an expert illustrator. Some games that are based on a film go the cheap route, taking images from the film and putting them all over the place without contacts. That is not what they did here! Everything was handmade for the game, and looks absolutely breathtaking.
Even the user interface and background were hand done, and go together perfectly with the rest of the game. The logo in particular is a nice touch, and the jackpot is tongue-in-cheek, as the reading for it is spelled much like Jackie Chan tends to spell his name. We think this was a wonderful touch, and a nice Easter egg.
