Whether or not you like the Rapunzel myth that it is based on, you will like this lot, as we did, and we aren't even a big fan of the myth!
What is This Slot About?
We never thought in a million years we'd be reviewing a game about hair, but here we are and here we type! This game takes on the Rapunzel theme, which is an old tale about a girl trapped in a tower that has really long hair and has to lay it out for a prince to climb up and save her. How did she live up there and grow all that hair? How did it support him all the way up? Why didn't she use it to make a rope and climb down herself? These questions and more are all left unanswered in this game, but that's fine since we're mostly here to win some money!
How Does the Game Actually Play?
In this arena, they succeeded quite a bit! You'd expect an old school game like this to be boring, but this one's anything but. It doesn't match the theme in that regard, and for that we are thankful. Whether it is the betting amounts that let you ante up at a penny or dollars for a coin, the 5 reels set across the stage with 25 pay lines, or anything else, such as the Explorer Feature that gives you a chance to win big, it's a joy to play and goes by real quick. No pun intended! You'll find yourself losing many an hour to this game without knowing it, and will only stop when your internet goes out or your device runs out of power. Chalk this one up to another hit by real time gaming, which is the norm for anything associated with them!
How's it Look?
There's an old school, children's book sort of vibe to the whole game that works really well. It looks like something you might find in an old book store, and plays like something new and modern. The classic look extends all over the illustrations, and harkens back to the old styles of English used in elements such as the fonts for the UI and the playing cards that you'll see all over the place.
Every single pixel on the reels was made with care and attention to detail. The drawings themselves are good enough to sell at Barnes and Noble, and everything comes together with a color scheme that makes it feel vibrant enough to be interesting, while still authentic enough to be part of an old fairy tale book. We don't think the prince is particularly dashing, but if he was all we had to help us get down from that tower, we wouldn't throw him off or put him out!

Who is the Ideal Audience of this Particular Slot?
People that love Disney and grew up with Fairy Tales will likely love what they did here. You don't see too many slots with this manner of theme on the market, and when you do, they usually suck. This one is far more authentic than the grand majority of the ones littering the internet, and will suck you in for that reason. Even if you're not that big of a fan of story books and fairy tales, however, you'll likely hop on and climb up this one because of how well they did it and how good the illustrations look, alongside those high and mighty jackpots!

Summing it up, Hairway to Heaven Slots is one of the best story book themed games on the market. There are not too many of these games, and they tend to be very low budget when they try. Although the budget here may have been minor, the graphics have a major advantage over the rest of them that you will see. This, when combined with the impressive betting amounts, the tight gameplay mechanics, and the fast pacing of all of the payouts you will be getting, make for an experience that is easy for us to recommend. Even if you absolutely hate story time, this game will give you plenty of money to make stories of your own in real life, which is the reason we are all here, isn't it?
