Mayan Queen Slots
Are we the only ones that wonder if there are more slot machine games on the Internet themed after ancient cultures that there are actual ancient cultures themselves? I wonder what all those ancient cultures would think if they saw the state of themselves today, largely being use to promote games on the Internet. Whatever the case, Mayan Queen is a certainly good one among them all, and would make all of those ancient cultures proud for that reason! Whether it is the wonderful color scheme or the highway jackpots, the random jackpot in particular standing out, we really loved everything they did with this game. There is a lot alike, and not a lot to hate, which is about as much praise as we can give.
Unless you simply have a hatred for the Mayan people, there is little reason not to jump in. We can understand how you would be afraid of Mayans, but in a game about them, all you have to lose some money, and the money you will get in return is likely way more than worth it!
What is This Slot About?
This slot is about a scary, staff wielding Myon queen, who will surely order your head to be chopped off, or your heart ripped out, which ever is culturally appropriate. We would be afraid of offending somebody if this culture still existed. All jokes aside, this game is themed after that ancient culture with pyramids made of gold, and gold also lining the streets. Gold in general is what they liked, making them have a lot in common with ourselves. Maybe we are descended from the Mayans? Who knows, but it would explain a lot, including our love of money, and amazingly shiny things.
How Does the Game Actually Play?
The Mayan culture itself was known for being very frenetic, dance oriented, and colorful. The same can be said of the game play here, which real time game and captures wonderfully. The progressive jackpot is of course the title feature, as it is an every single game we play and review, but there is still a lot to like outside of that. The free spins feature, for example, is unique in this game has coming up more often than not, and giving you more free spins any time that it does. The coin sizes are also fairly standard, which makes for a nice contrast. Whether you were only willing to risk a single penny, two, or go all the way up and break the bank at five dollars a coin, it is a game that is accessible on both ends of the financial spectrum.
There are five reel's, as there are with almost all of these games, and the pay lines top out at 25. That is about average, and makes the maximum bet for every spin $125. This is decent, and makes for a fun time should you hit it big. We think personally that it causes the progressive jackpot future to pay out more often, but we have no data to verify our theory. Feel free to approve it or disapprove it for us and let us know!
You will match a wide variety of Mayan trinkets. These include a beautiful bracelet, a very sharp looking dagger, a sparkling emerald that is very very green, a golden statue that is equally as yellow, a fierce Jagwire, some wonderful jewelry, someone's jug, a pet parrot, a beautiful pyramid, the queen herself, and what we assume is her pet snake. We are not sure why queens always have pet snakes, but we think it's a thing.
How's it Look?
They spared no expense when it comes to the graphics, and it looks wonderful across the board. The queen herself stands tall, occupying a grand total of three reels, and the parrot looks particularly feathery. They hired an expert artist here, and it all looks fairly authentic. They clearly did some research, and incorporated that into everything, including the user interface. Nothing here is lazy, and it makes for a very wonderful time for that reason. We can't think of anything we dislike about the graphics, and even enjoy the font choices that they made. We sure are sure you will agree, and can appreciate what they did here when it comes to the production values.

Who is the Ideal Audience of this Particular Slot?
For anyone that is a fan of the ancient culture itself, or simply in it for the money, there is a lot to like about this wonderful game. We can't think of anyone that would dislike it, assuming they just didn't hate capitalism in general. Those people are weird, however, and we do not see them being among the many people playing this game.
Summing it All Up - Should You Play This Fine Game?
Summing it up, Mayan Queen Slots is one of the best themed games on the market when it comes to Mayan culture. We do not say that lightly, as there are quite a few scattered around the Internet. You will even find many of them here! That being said, this game still manages to stand out for its wonderful take on the Latin American culture. Everything they did comes together very well, and they succeed greatly and giving players ample reason to continue. These wonderful kind of incentives are why we are all in the slot world, and we are thankful that this game has chosen to become a part of it. We cannot recommend it enough, or rather we can, have, and did. For that reason, go play it, and make us feel justified in spending all this time in our review trying to get you to play it!
