We want to say that this game is about where Santa Claus grew up, but that is not quite the tone that the developers took when developing it. How Does the Game Actually Play?
We imagine that exploring the Arctic regions would be a very slow, careful, and calculated task. This is not the way the game plays, thankfully, being a fast pace money winning affair that will have you itching for more! The betting sizes here are quite small, which is not usual for real time gaming. You can always start at just one penny, which is the standard for them, but the most you can go to for a single coin here is one dollar each. This is a far cry from normal, usually coins going up to five dollars. There are still five reel's, and 25 pay lines, making the game standard everywhere else. Because of the low coin size, the most you can bet is $25.
You can expect to match all kinds of things associated with the north pole, although the many suits are playing cards will have you scratching your head as to how they relate! This is where they put most of their art budget, which we are quite thankful for! You can see this across all of the suits of playing cards that they clearly put a lot of time into this game, each being stylized in a very unique way, and entirely appropriate to the theme. They actually are cold to look at, and we get a chill down our spine just looking at them! The illustrations themselves are very well done, having many of the explorer himself, and all kinds of animals that almost look real. They are not cheap photographs, nor vector traces. They are all authentically painted, which we appreciate.
The backgrounds in particular are breathtaking, and make us want to go explore the region, if it were not for that extreme cold!

Who is the Ideal Audience of this Particular Slot?
We don't think that there is a large audience out there that really cares all that much about the north pole. Outside of Santa Claus that is! For that reason, this game is probably more suited to those that like to walk off the beaten path, and simply want something new. Bonus points if you love exploration, which everyone pretty much does, though we are not quite sure anyone would want to take a cruise or a flight out to an area this cold!

Summing it up, Polar Explorer Slots is one of the only games that is actually about the north pole on the Internet. It takes this theme from an exploration angle, having you venture out in search of what are undoubtably treasures left to be unearth. Along the way, you will see all kinds of colorful animals, and use your trusty compass to navigate your ship while playing cards. This is surely to keep you from losing your mind, as the cold sets in and frostbite takes it's toll. Joking aside, this is a nice slot that is well-made and evenly paced.
