Kung Fu Rooster Slots
Of all of the games that tried to copy the Kung Fu Panda Theme, this one is clearly the most inventive, and goes the furthest off from the beaten path. Sure, it retains the same Kung Fu theme as the title material, but at the same time, they actually took the time to make their own cast of characters that looks lovely, as well as change the names of the animals themselves. Because of this, and the wonderful game play, Kung Fu Rooster is one that we adore more than most of the others, and can see ourselves coming back to for quite a long time! It comes together that well and is very expressive, being worthy of the film it is based on.
Aside from that simple fact, there is still a lot to like here. There are many multipliers to be found, impressive jackpots, and all kinds of other things that real time gaming has wonderfully allowed to occur on our fair side of the Internet. There is also a little bit of strategy involved with some of the bonus modes, and some other things involving free spins that we will not spoil here! It's a lot more fun to see for yourself, and you will have a better time with it if you give it a chance in that way.
We can't think of many things that we dislike about this game, absolutely loving almost every pixel on the screen in front of us right now as we write this review. If we can change anything, it would be seeing more of the wonderful characters that they have designed, but that's about the only thing that we could hold against this otherwise a great game that is sure to become a classic at the genre!
What is This Slot About?
This game is about a rooster that for whatever reason decided to learn Kung Fu. Alongside his strange animal friends, he is presumably going to go around and save the world from some kind of crazy something, which for narrative reasons is strong enough to threaten the world but weak enough to be beaten by fists. In his case, I suppose they will be beaten by wings, but you get the point! Like we said, this game is Kung Fu Panda with a rooster, and a lot more charisma than many of the characters in that feature film itself. We hold nothing against them for doing this, and actually like the way it turned out for that reason!
How Does the Game Actually Play?
This game plays really well, about as well as it looks! That's how you know we like it, because we tend to judge a game largely on the graphics, because the gameplay tends to be largely similar. The bonus modes here keep this game for being entirely similar in that way, and there are other goodies here that you will absolutely love as well. The fire claw multiplier is only one of the many things you will find, which along side the progressive jackpot, make it a fun time all around. This is across the now standard number of reel's, which are five, and having 12 pay lines in total. There is also a free spins mode to be had, and it comes up about as often as you would expect.
You can match all kinds of things, which we will do our best to name for you! There is of course the rooster himself, his presumably apprentice animal friends, some kind of weird rooster outfit that he would get it after he completes his training, an evil looking gong kind of thing, and many suits of stylized playing cards that look just a bit Chinese, but are still entirely legible. We would love it if they use Chinese characters instead, but then again, we're not in charge of these folks!
How's it Look?
This is a wonderfully rendered game in all respects. The colors are perfectly spot on, with a nice mix of relaxing pastel backgrounds behind the wonderfully saturated graphics. Each of these images is hand painted, looking absolutely wonderful, and we have nothing bad to say about them in the slightest. Even the user interface is well designed, being impeccable - no pun intended - in every way. We're having a hard time coming up with things to criticize about it, which means it really did come out very well. It is all adorned with the classic Chinese reds and golds, completing the authenticity of the experience. Or at least as close as they can get!

Who is the Ideal Audience of this Particular Slot?
This game is for fans of animated CGI movies of the Pixar and DreamWorks variety, and of course Disney films. They captured everything that we usually love about those, and combined it with a love of money that all holds us together as a people. This game cross cultural boundaries and that way! If you don't like it, the problem is likely you, as there is so much here to enjoy.
Summing it All Up - Should You Play This Fine Game?
Summing it up, Kung Fu Rooster Slots is a very nice game in a variety of ways that will appeal to a variety of people on any number of levels. It looks really great, plays just as well, and is one of the rare instances where of the user interface and backgrounds are so nice that you might actually pause when you look at them! They hit this one out of the park, and we look forward to seeing more works by this amazing developer.
