Is there anyone out there that does not love ninja stars? Boring, crazy people, that's who! Based on one of the most interesting things on the planet, which is a small instrument of death that is beautiful to see fly, this slot has an odd theme, but plays very well despite that. If you are a fan of all things ninja, Asian culture in general, and simply want to win some money on the Internet, Ninja Star slots game has a lot to offer you, and in a tight black spandex suit that you don't see too often on men. We really enjoyed everything about this game, having an old-school style similar to the Shinobi video games produced in the 90s.

Whether or not you are a fan of that genre, however, there is still a lot for you to love here, and an infinite number of things for you to get into. They did a wonderful job here, have well produced art, and a pixel style that comes together for anyone that is a fan of retro gaming. If you are not a fan of retro gaming, however, this game may not be for you, unless you simply really love ninjas, or that ninja star mentioned in the title. Other than that, and anyone interested in progress of jackpots will have a good time here!

What is This Slot About?

You would know that this game was about ninjas if you knew what a ninja star was. And if you don't know what a ninja star is, then what's the matter with you? They are one of the coolest things we have ever invented. Right after the wheel, the ninja star ranks high in importance. Entire dynasties would have fallen if not for its invention, and many more likely did fall because of it. It is an integral part of our history as a people, being the linchpin that ties us all together, and a shining example of death being thrown through the air.

How Does the Game Actually Play?

Fast, Swift, and with lots of bite is the best way to describe this game. It is much like the title theme, flying very quickly, and striking deep into your wallet! The coins here vary quite a bit, beginning with just a single penny for the timid, and hiking all the way up to five dollars for those that are worthy to play the game. There are five reels in total, spread across 25 pay lines. The most you can have a bet is $125, which is just for a single spin. Although many games out there offer a lot more, there are also many that offer half as much, making this a middle of the road game when it comes to risk. The ninja scroll feature is a bonus mode that comes up quite often, and is a nice addition as well.

You will be matching all kinds of interesting things, most of which are admittedly stylize suits of playing cards, but exist along side a beautiful dojo, a ninja star, the logo for the game, a ninja himself, and many of his ninja weapons. We would love to win one of those weapons rather than the money, if only we could figure out a way to send that through the Internet! Maybe this is what 3-D printers were invented for, as this is a need that needs to be filled right this instant.

How's it Look?

This is where the game will be divisive for many. On the one hand, we do think that it looks great. For what it is. It is a star studded game that takes after the super Nintendo era of graphics, coming together in a way that makes you think of those old-school experiences. For many, like ourselves, this is a wonderful thing, and is to be celebrated. For other people, however, this kind of thing will likely go unnoticed, leaving only a somewhat retro looking game that may not be all that appealing to them. We think that the older you are, and the more into video games you are, the more you will come to appreciate the graphics here. Otherwise, you will likely find them average, if not low budget.

Who is the Ideal Audience of this Particular Slot?

Like we said, if you loved playing video games in the 90s, or happen to love ninjas, then this game will be right up your ninja alley. For everyone else, however, you will have to rely on the progressive jackpot, and the fair paying amounts. Some people might out right just like the graphics, which we can appreciate, and is something to decide for yourself going into it. You will love or hate this game, we guarantee that!

Summing it All Up - Should You Play This Fine Game?

Summing it up, Ninja Star Slots is one of the only games of its kind on the market, taking after a period of time that we all can look back fondly on, assuming we actually lived during the 90s. That might seem like an odd thing to be said about a game that is based on ninjas, who are ancient, but the intent of the developers is clear. If you do not like retro games, you likely won't like this one. If you love that time in game in history, however, this one will hit all the right notes for you, and it may be your new favorite. Although we cannot say it is our favorite, we do look on it fondly, because it reminds us so much of those wonderful experiences we had way back in the day when times were simpler, and we were not paid by the games for playing them!
