Zombies vs. Cheerleaders is a game that we really want to like. We really do! And for the most part, we do not hate it. Based on everything that we have seen and played, however, we do think that it is a missed opportunity, much like we thought about the sequel to the game as well. Although the theme is a joy to think about, and some aspects of it did come out well, they veered more towards the zombies than they did the cheerleaders, which is always our biggest gripe whenever people handle anything like this! If you like zombies, it's for you, but cheerleader fans or those that like attractive women will likely be left wanting.
There is a lot more to the game than the theme, however, which will be enough to keep many people interested. For starters, there are some wonderful jackpots here, and the betting amounts are as accessible as they have ever been. The bonus round is also pretty fun, and the maximum bets that you can make are pretty good for the genre - $125 a spin. For many people, this will be enough to keep you interested in spinning long into the night. For everyone else, however, you might still be waiting for that perfect zombie themed game that's filled with hot chicks.
We still recommend giving it a try if you made it this far, however, because it is decent enough for what it is, and it is not overly bad. We feel strange not giving it a higher recommendation, but we want to be fair to the developers. Some people probably will get a big kick out of it, we just were one of them. Sure, we won a lot of money and will be going back to it for that reason, but that's about it!
What is This Slot About?
As you can tell from the title, this game is all about pitting a group of hot chicks against a bunch of undead dudes and having them bash each other's heads in! We are assuming that the cheerleaders are the winners here, and that is largely what the game has provided us. It would make for a very different game if they lost, however, and probably would not be as fun! That will be a very grim reality indeed that we would rather not live in. If you like hot chicks in blood and gore, however, this game is just about up your alley, more towards the gore than the girls.
How Does the Game Actually Play?
This game plays pretty well despite all else that we have and will say about it, thanks of course to the wonderful folks at real time gaming that always manage to make a hit. This game has the usual number of pay lines that you see, being 25, and the standard number of reel's, being five. They tried to spice things up a bit by adding in some free spins rounds that come up, and a random jackpot, which tend to keep things somewhat interesting. Based on the theme, they are also somewhat fitting, as part of the fun of zombie movies is that you never quite know when something's going to come out and get you! Only now, it's positive.
You can already figure what you will be matching here. There are many stylized suits of playing cards that look pretty good, although they may have gone a little overboard on the blood splatter! Aside from that, and you will find many attractive vixens across the screen, in every shape and size you can walk. The zombies are the other characters you will see frequenting here, some of whom have their heads being bashed in and related things.
How's it Look?
This is not a pretty game, but in this case, that is by design! They have juxtaposed cheerleaders and zombies together, mostly resulting in a big bloody mess that makes for lots of reds and greens. It was nice that they featured the football field here, although we wish they would have featured the girls a little bit more than they did! That's the main point of the theme, and if we really cared about football here, then we would have wanted a game about zombies taking on the football team, not hot chicks!

Who is the Ideal Audience of this Particular Slot?
The ideal audience for this game is anyone that has a love of zombies and went to grade school. If you like attractive women, you will certainly like the idea of this game, but as we said, will be left ultimately unfulfilled because they did not manage to come through on that aspect of the theme quite as well. It is a big, glory, bloody mess, not the kind of thing that you would see in one of the raunchier games that we sometimes have around here. For better or worse, that's how it came out!

Summing it up, Zombies vs. Cheerleaders Slots is a game that we really want to like, and certainly do not hate, but find hard to recommend to cheerleader fans. If you have a love of zombies, however, this game will certainly be for you. We think it would have been much better suited if they would have went all in with the zombies, as that was the only part of the theme that they really pulled off. Despite that, however, there are some impressive jackpots here to be had, which admittedly, is what really makes us come back to games like these.
